जमशेदपुर, झारखंड : भाई- बहन के प्यार और समर्पण को समर्पित करम पर्व को लेकर युवाओं में खासा उत्साह देखा जा रहा है। बुधवार को करम एकादशी के मौके पर युवा धूमधाम से करम डाली लेकर अखड़ा पहुंचे जहां करम डाली की पूजा- अर्चना की जाएगी.
कुड़मी समुदाय में इस पर्व की विशेष महत्ता होती है। मान्यता के अनुसार युवा उपवास रहकर करम डाली लेकर आते हैं और युवतियां विधि- विधान के साथ अपने भाई के लंबी उम्र की कामना के लिए करम डाली की पूजा- अर्चना करती है. अगले दिन करम डाली के विसर्जन के साथ ही इस अनुष्ठान का समापन होगा।
