चतरा: अवैध नशे के कारोबारियों के विरूद्ध चतरा पुलिस को बड़ी सफलता मिली है। एसपी सुमित कुमार अग्रवाल के निर्देश पर सिमरिया एसडीपीओ शुभम खंडेलवाल के नेतृत्व में गठित स्पेशल छापेमारी दल की टीम ने पत्थलगड्डा थाना क्षेत्र के कुम्हार टोली निवासी उदेश कुमार दांगी के घर संचालित मिनी ब्राउन शुगर फैक्ट्री का भंडाफोड़ किया है।
इस दौरान करीब चार करोड़ की अवैध ब्राउन शुगर, 2.78 किलो अवैध अफीम, 1.01 किलो ब्राउन शुगर बनाने में प्रयुक्त पाउडर, एक बोतल एसिटल क्लोराईड व एक मापतौल मशीन के आलावे 23 लाख 60 हजार 700 रुपये नगद बरामद हुए हैं। 
पुलिस की टीम ने मौके से तस्कर उदेश दांगी की पत्नी मधु कुमारी को गिरफ्तार किया है। करीब 12 घंटे तक चली छापेमारी अभियान के दौरान पुलिस को यह बड़ी सफलता मिली है।
